It's stressful to reach out without knowing what you're getting into. I hope some estimates & info can provide some comfort with starting the process. I just want to draw your cool thing! Simple Character Illustration
$150 - $200 USDA visually clear illustration, with simple lighting & perspective. This style is ideal for instances where visibility of your character(s) is most important, like character sheets or concept art. Additional views & expressions available upon request.
Price range affected by: Character visibility (bust, half body, full body), outfit complexity, weapons, accessories, & additional details. Further costs will be applicable for character concepting.
Complex Character Illustration
$200 - $300 USD My Most PopularA dynamic illustration with engaging perspective, lighting, effects, and a strong focus on storytelling. Typically this is the highest quality of work I'm capable of providing, and my personal favorite style of illustration.
Price range affected by: Character visibility (bust, half body, full body), outfit complexity, weapons, accessories, background detail, effects, & additional details.
Stickers & Emotes
$25 - $30 USD eachAn expressive & cute emote of your favorite character, pet, or anything else. Perfect for Twitch & Discord emotes, or printing as stickers. These are available in any quanitity.
Frame by frame animated emotes are available on request, though price is determined case by case.
FAQ
I don't have a clear idea of what I'd like drawn. Is that a problem?
That's actually expected! I consider collaboration the most important part of commission work. If I can't help you ideate, and choose something you're excited by, I'd consider that to be a failure on my part.
How/when do I pay for my illustration?
I accept both PayPal and Venmo as payment options. This is typically handled in 2 halves: The first half is sent as soon as work has begun, and the second after the final sketch is finished and revised.
Why are the prices listed as a range instead of a set amount?
A lot of factors can influence how difficult an illustration is to make, such as: Character detail, complexity of props, weapons, etc. I hoped to provide an idea of both the low, and high end of what can be expected.
How will the price be affected by adding additional characters?
As a rough estimate, each additional character adds about +75% of the original cost. We'll consider details of the character(s), pet(s), or companion(s) and I'll later reflect that in the final estimation.
What is your typical turnaround time for an illustration?
I will always value quality over the speed I'm able to finish your project. That being said, a standard commission is finished in 1-2 weeks.
Do you offer revisions and/or progress updates?
Absolutely! I expect to involve you throughout the entire process, making revisions as they come up. If you prefer surprise, I can withhold progress updates, but the product may not be as tailored to you.
What if I have to cancel the project and need a refund?
I'm happy to provide a partial refund if you're forced to cancel because of your circumstances. However, I will need to retain a certain percentage based off the work I've already completed for my own well-being.
Can I use the illustration for commercial purposes?
The finished illustration is yours to use in whatever way you wish for no additional fees. However, falsely claiming you've drawn or created the piece yourself isn't allowed. Credit should be directed here.
